Shipping starts in 10 days

The final countdown

It's been an exciting week!

Yesterday we got the official network certification paperwork signed. We knew Karma Go completed the tests last week, but now we have the papers to prove it.

Earlier this week we started flashing devices with the final firmware, and the first batch will be done tomorrow or Saturday. Then we'll start shipping that batch to our fulfillment center, most likely on Monday. It takes a couple days by air to the US, and then a couple days in customs. Once the devices hit our fulfillment center, about 10 days from now, those who pre-ordered first will start getting FedEx tracking numbers. We’re using FedEx Home to ship, so you’ll know exactly when it’s supposed to arrive. [edit: as of August, we now use UPS rather than FedEx for shipping] All devices will be shipped on a first come, first served basis.

Karma Go Mass Production

Yesterday we sent address confirmations to everyone who pre-ordered. If you didn't get that email, just reach out to support and we'll get you squared away.

It will take about 45 days to fulfill all the Karma Go pre-orders. We'll be checking for problems along the way, and making sure our system is working perfectly as each new Karma Go comes online. The great part about having the device fully tested and approved by the network means if we want to make any changes to the device software going forward, we can do that as an Over-The-Air update.

So yeah, 10 more days and we ship. We couldn't be more thrilled.
